Formed in late 2010 Audego (Au-dah-go) is a fierce combination of dusty vocals set to old-fashioned harmonies, smudged samples, blurred synths and crooked percussion.

As one of Australia’s most versatile and accomplished producers, Pasobionic aka Shehab Tariq has produced 5 albums as part of Curse ov Dialect and a further 4 with TZU, as well as a solo record under his own name. Bringing to the table many years of experience in the forefront of the music scene, with TZU/COD he has performed on many of the country’s biggest stages including BDO, Falls Festival and Pyramid Rock with supports for the likes of Kool Keith, Atmosphere, Black Eyed Peas, Peaches, Spearhead and De La Soul.

Honeyed vocalist, Big Fella aka Carolyn Tariq also brings a wealth of experience and talent to the fold. Having released her solo album ‘The Longest Winter’ in 2009, she has toured across the states and also performed at a number of big events including Fringe Festival and Sustainable Living Festival. Wanting to contribute to the greater good, she has also organized and facilitated numerous workshops throughout Victoria and QLD teaching song writing to disadvantaged youth.

In 2013, Big Fella was shortlisted by APRA for the Professional Development Award for emerging songwriters.  Audego were also been awarded funding support from Arts Victoria to fund their east coast national album tour in October 2013. Audego were selected as semi-finalists for the 2012 International Song Writing Competition and received an honourable mention for the 2011 International Song Writing Competition for their song Borrowed Time. In 2012, Audego were selected as album of the week on Perth’s RTR FM –Full Frequency and have played at Peats Ridge Festival (2011) and Eclipse Festival (2012). They have supported the likes of Hermitude, Sietta and Pataphysics and have played at venues such as the East Brunswick Club, Good God Small Club, The Gasometer, The Liberty Social, Red Bennies, The Workers Club, Empress Hotel and Horse Bazaar.

On the stage, Audego’s live show features projections created by Australia’s visuals expert Jean Poole, who has masterminded a finely mashed abstract audio/visual showcase. With Pasobionic orchestrating the sound, Big Fella can do what she does best by taking hold of the mic to tie it all together vocally.

Audego released their sparkling debut album Abominable Galaxy through MGM in 2012 to rave reviews. They are currently completing their sophomore album, Beneath the Static and the Low due for release September 2013. Be prepared for your senses to be seduced.
