SEEKAE SIGN WITH FUTURE CLASSIC, REVEAL NEW SINGLE ‘ANOTHER’

Recon Music is excited to be working alongside Australian outfit Seekae and Sydney based label Future Classic.  Recon Music will be helping publicise and promote Seekae’s upcoming third album.

Earlier this week Seekae proudly  announced their signing to Sydney based label Future Classic (Flume, Jagwar Ma, Flight Facilities).

The Sydney trio have also revealed ‘Another’, the first single off their forthcoming third album to be released in early 2014. ‘Another’ is a powerful exhibition of electronic pop that will excite Seekae’s existing fans and earn them leagues of new ones.

Mixed by David Wrench (Caribou, Bat For Lashes), ‘Another’ represents a shift in Seekae’s sound, with percussionist Alex Cameron now on vocal duties, but stays true to the band’s signature restraint and meticulous layered production.

‘Another’ was given its worldwide radio premiere Sunday night on triple j’s 2013 program.

Audego reveal new single and animated video ‘Sleepy’

 

Melbourne electronic duo Audego have revealed their new single Sleepy.  Crafted over the space of a year, Sleepy is a collision of hectic synths and bashing beats. Layered honeyed vocals lament the torments of a sleepless mind and showcase the aching relief when one finally drifts to unconsciousness.

Sydney-based artist Paul Andrew Rhodes (Negative Films) brought the animated film clip for ‘Sleepy’ to life. Rhodes captured the mania of insomnia superbly through a riot of surrealistic monster imagery and maddening animations.
